Made to Measure

Made to Measure is a chance to find out more about Manchester Museum’s spectacular collection of over 4.5 million objects and to meet some of the team of curators who look after it.

This new programme is currently free and is open to community groups, youth organisations and support groups working with any age group as well as home educating families, charities, care homes, and other organisations.

We are inviting groups or families to sign up for a Made to Measure online event.

These events will be tailor made for the interests and needs of participants and will give you the chance to pose your curious questions in advance so our team can answer them during the event.

As part of our LGBTQ+ History Month and Beyond programme, from ancient Egypt to frogs from our Vivarium, we tailored sessions to discuss LGBTQ+ themes relating to our collection.

Made to Measure sessions are available all year round, and we invite LGBTQ+ groups and families to access this resource, whether you want an LGBTQ+ themed session or just an escape into the world of the Museum.
