In August 2018, An Afternoon with the Family Gorgeous saw some of Manchester’s most creative drag queens take visitors of all ages on a journey of queer exploration through the museum’s collections. Family Gorgeous reinterpreted museum objects in a spectacular day of lip-sync, spoken word and drag cabaret.
